Obiettivi formativi
Gli obiettivi formativi dell'insegnamento sono di fornire a studenti e studentesse gli elementi per l'organizzazione di un cantiere forestale e creare sensibilità in merito alla tematica della sicurezza in ambiente agricolo e forestale, stimolando riflessioni per la messa in opera di buone pratiche in linea con le normative vigenti.
Aim of the course is both to know the basic elements to organize a forestry site and to improve the agro-forestry safety topics, stimulating the students to think and to realize good practices in line with the current standard.

L'insegnamento permette a studentesse e studenti di acquisire nozioni e strumenti utili per l'organizzazione delle attività in bosco e per comprendere le peculiarità del settore della trasformazione del legno. La formazione è arricchita dalle seguenti competenze:
Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione
- descrivere l'organizzazione di un'impresa boschiva (pubblica o privata) e la gestione della sicurezza nei cantieri forestali;
Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione applicate
saper scegliere tecnologie, prodotti e macchine appropriati per ogni realtà operativa.
Autonomia di giudizio
collegare aspetti di gestione del lavoro e della sicurezza nei cantieri forestali;
Abilità comunicative
La padronanza della comunicazione multidisciplinare tra le attività di prelievo della materia prima e le successive fasi di prima e seconda trasformazione sono un obiettivo fondante dell'insegnamento.

Capacità di reperire autonomamente informazioni e intraprendere studi sugli argomenti in oggetto
Through the course, the student can gain knowledge and instruments that are useful for organizing the operations into the woods and for understanding the characteristics of the wood processing sector. The education is enriched by the following competencies:
Knowledge and understanding
describing the organization of a forest enterprise (public or private) and the safety management in forestry yards;
Applying knowledge and understanding
ability to choose technologies, products, and machines suitable for any operational context.
Making judgements
connecting the aspects related to work management and safety of forestry yards;
Communication skills
A base aim of the course is mastering the multidisciplinary communication between the extraction of the raw material and its following first and second processing.

L'insegnamento fa parte dell'area di apprendimento tecnico-applicativa.
Tempi e metodi del lavoro forestale.
Ergonomia e sicurezza nei lavori in bosco.
La normativa vigente in Italia (D.Lgs. 81/08) e sua pertinenza con i lavori forestali.
La valutazione del rischio e il DVR (documento di valutazione dei rischi): che cosa sono e come si applicano al settore forestale.
Elementi della valutazione del rischio dei lavori in bosco: sopralluogo, lista di controllo, responsabilità, formazione.
Principali fattori di rischio nei lavori in bosco e loro regolamentazione: rischi fisici, biologici e movimentazione manuale dei carichi.
La Direttiva Macchine (2006/95/CE) e la Mother Regulation per macchine ed attrezzature usate in ambito forestale.
Stesura di un documento di valutazione dei rischi

Modalità di insegnamento
L'insegnamento è articolato in 40 ore, suddivise in lezioni in base al calendario accademico, e esercitazioni svolte in aula, in bosco e presso imprese del settore. La didattica frontale consta di lezioni teoriche tenute dal/la docente e da seminari tenuti da esperti del settore.
The course consists of 40 hours of frontal teaching, divided out depending on the academic calendar, and in-class labs and field excursions, both into the forestry yards and by enterprises of the sector. The frontal teaching consists of theoretical lessons held by the lecturer and of seminars held by experts in the field.
